Community Updates from Auburn Mayor, Pete Lewis, Auburn All Stars

Tonight we all gathered down at The Ave to watch our Auburn Little Leaguers. It was 4-0 for us then 4-3 and the tension mounted. We came back and it was 6-3 as we went into the bottom of the 5th and the room grew quiet. One out then two but a man on third a hit and it was 6-4. Oh, the tension kept rising and the other side loaded the bases. One run in and 6-5 and our kids struck them out. One more inning and no one left the room. Then we got 3 more runs and it was 9-5 as the other team stepped up to the plate bottom of the 9th. 3 outs to go. One strike out then two, a new pitcher and, and he's out- Auburn Little League wins 9-5!
Next game tomorrow night at 5PM against Texas. Keep those donations coming in Auburn, they need it.
